Some people are not fans of leftovers but this is one of my favorite “go-to” leftover meals when I make meatloaf and everyone loves it. There are a few things I can suggest that you can do to change up this recipe.
- Choice of bread: pretzel bread, brioche bun, gluten free bun
- Toppings: regular jalapeños, grilled onions
- Condiments: BBQ sauce, Kewpie, Dijon mustard
Did you try it? If so, did you add anything extra to your Meatloaf Sandwich?
Meatloaf Sandwich
Perfect use for leftover meatloaf
Equipment
- 1 Blackstone Griddle
Ingredients
- 4 slices Leftover Meatloaf
- 8 pieces Bacon
- 4 slices Cheese (I used cheddar)
- 4 Pretzilla buns
- 1/2 cup Pickled Red Onions
- 1/2 cup Cowboy Candy
- 4 tbsp Patriot Sauce
Instructions
- Slice the leftover meatloaf and throw it on the griddle
- Cook the bacon to your liking
- Toast up the Pretzilla buns
- Once the meatloaf has a nice crust on it, melt the cheese on it
- Once the cheese is melted and the bacon is done, it's time to assemble the sandwich.
- Stack up the meatloaf on the Pretzilla buns, top with bacon, pickled red onions, cowboy candy and a drizzle of Patriot Sauce.
- Enjoy!
